about me

I report on the latest developments in healthcare and biology, as well as covering environmental issues. I am currently undertaking my masters in Science, Health and Environmental Reporting at New York University, who have awarded me a fellowship to do so.

I studied Microbiology at Trinity College Dublin, where I researched antimicrobial resistance. Whilst on exchange at McGill University, I completed a research project on immunomodulation training, which led to being shortlisted as the Irish Female Undergraduate of the Year 2022.

During my time at Trinity, I was the Magazine and Assistant Features Editor for the world's best non-daily student newspaper The University Times. My work has also appeared in The Nationalist , Container, Inverse, STAT, and Scienceline. My passion for writing stems from my scientific curiosity and dislike of misinformation. Apart from writing and content creation, I love cats, podcasts, sushi, and most genres of music!
